Heaven and Earth
Thursday, July 11, 2019 — Eagle Trail, Boulder Valley Ranch
KR, ML, SM, MK met S at the Eagle Trail, west of Boulder Reservoir, in a fortuitous gap between two storm cells, wherein we, along with some fireflies and a few thousand mosquitoes, dodged the lightning.
A good time was had by all — except for one unfortunate firefly who landed on the road, and succumbed (we suspect) to insect repellent.
