Sunshine Canyon
Phase 1: S & D opted for a new route, the "Sunshine Canyon Trail." The trail traverses the south side of Sunshine Canyon, and eventually intersects another trail on the west side of Mt. Sanitas.
The trail was smooth, with an almost-imperceptible rise. Our intrepid hikers dodged numerous joggers caroming downhill like giant, vegan boulders in an Indiana Jones movie. After a mile, the trail intersects Sunshine Canyon road at the edge of private property. S & D declared this "the summit," whereupon D announced the DOW, and the twain caromed downhill.
Twilight was fully upon us at the conclusion of Phase 1.
Phase 2: Pasta Jay's, abundant with the usual selection of comely waitpersons and garlic.
Phase 3: Ozo.
