South Mesa

An inch or two of snow on the ground, haze in the air. Gave the South Mesa Trail another shot. At 3pm, one empty spot in the parking lot. Hikers were exiting the trail.
So I walked up a mile and a half, 40-ish minutes. Packed snow and ice on the trail, with bare gravel here and there. The Mesa Trail is a highway - lots of people walk this path. Numerous side trails branch off here and there. Plenty to explore.
