Quest to a Quarry
Wednesday, July 25, 2017 - Woods Quarry
Phase 1: For this evening's Adventure, we were honored to host D2's parents, Bea and Roger, who were visiting from Germany and had just returned from Yellowstone. C offered to MC the festivities; everyone agreed that she had mastered the art of mastering ceremonies. Thus we ascended, accompanied by light rain and topless joggers, to Woods Quarry and its ancient (if dilapidated) stone Adirondack chairs.
Phase 2: Chautauqua Dining Hall, out on the veranda. Great food, very pleasant.
Phase 3: Chautauqua Dining Hall. A curious hummingbird moth sampled the flowers as we sipped our coffee.
