Phase 1: Coalton Trail
This week brought more snow, followed by warmer temperatures—or at least the semblance of warmer temperatures. Out here on the high plains, with their typical brisk wind, the balmy 50-degree afternoon felt more like 30.
Oh well, our fearless adventurers don’t retreat from a little wind here and there; at least not often. S and D trudged up and down the Coalton Trail, along with the usual joggers and a few cyclists. A mile and a half up to the corner, and back down again.
A prairie dog took one look at our intrepid explorers and scampered at breakneck speed away from its burrow, for some unknown reason, and with nary a peep.
Phase 2, 3:
D had somehow run out of groceries at home, so P2 was cancelled this week. A bit chilly anyway.
