Phase 1: Meadowlark from Oerman-Roche
C, D, and S met on a cool gray evening, to trek along the Meadowlark Trail from the Oerman-Roche trailhead. With snow flurries abating and no wind, the walk was reasonably pleasant, and mostly lacking in the usual fauna along the route, save for a single meadowlark piping cheerfully in the mist.
Much discussion of various once and future adventures: ballooning, zip-lining, glass-bottomed walkways over yawning chasms, going to restaurants. There was a dog who wanted to sniff everyone, apparently yearning for that eau-de-BNO. It’s a rare thing, you know.
No P2/P3 due to the temperature. Maybe some hint of spring will arrive next week and we can bring a snack and some coffee.
